ENGLISH SPEECH TEXT: A little Fresh for Our Planet

Hot!! Do you feel that in your environment? Alright, 100 for you. For the real research shows that year to year our planet suffers the anxious temperature raising. Beside of that, many natural disasters and phenomenon happen uncontrolled in this current time. Begin from the flood, earthquake, landslide till the unstably of the rainfall in our country Indonesia. So, be aware please dear audiences! All of that are the symbols of natural destruction. Do you want it happened? Of course No dear Audiences.

If we think more, all of that are connected with a global warming problem that’s always talked by many people in this world. And the big question is what is global warming itself? And why it can be happened in the world today? And how to solve all of it?

Well audiences,

            I’m Firman Syihabudin from Mambaus Sholihin senior high school standing here, will give you the best solution to answer all that question. That’s delivering speech with the tittle

“A little Fresh for Our Planet”

Dear audiences

            Some experts have concluded that the heat of this earth is connected with greenhouse gases produced by human activities. Specifically to oversee the causes and effects produced by global warming, the United Nations (UN) established a research group called the International Panel on Climate Change (IPCC).

One of the first things they found was that some kinds of greenhouse gases directly responsible for the warming that’s happened, and the biggest contributor is man itself. WOW dear audiences. Most of these greenhouse gases produced by livestock, the burning of fossil fuels in motor vehicles, modern factories and farms. And we find a big question again, what is Greenhouse Gas?

The atmosphere of this earth has many kinds of gas with many different functions. The gas keeping the temperature of this earth in order to be warm anymore is called by Greenhouse. Is it right? Of course. But, nowadays greenhouse gas in the atmosphere of this earth is more than before, moreover CO2 (carbon dioxide). And everything in the factual is warm, now it is more than warm. Do you know what that is? Hot dear audiences.      

            I think all societies in this world don’t want this happened and also you. Right? So, all countries in this world try to solve all that problems. And what is the contribution of Indonesia to solve this problem?    

Ladies and gentlemen

            Indonesia has millions of acres about forest. Moreover like what has been report by Kompas.com that Indonesian forest becomes the largest forest of the world at the 2^nd rank after Amazon forest. Beside it, that’s as the lung of this world.

But, how is about the forest in our country Indonesia? It’s very disappointing ladies and gentlemen why? Because a million more forests in Borneo as the storage of CO2 have been lost. And all of that are because of the own hands of Indonesian society. Because of Indonesians action, it gives a bad effect to the environment of the world. That’s global warming.   

            So here, the role of government to give a good contribution in solving global warming problems is needed. Do you know what that is? It is clear dear audience. That is keeping our forest as storage of CO2. And I believe in your brain will be there a question “How to do that?” Right?

Ladies and gentlemen

            In saving forests of Indonesia, government must be proactive and be the driver to save the forests. And it is not easy as when we turn our hand or by saying Bimsalabim Abracadabra. But it need a long process. Do you know how that is? 

         1). Firmness in upholding the law for environmental destroyer, especially for 
        illegal loggers

                2). Opening forest tourism like a forest in Leuser mountain north Sumatra or 
        Ujung Kulon National Park in West Java

               3). Giving policy that all forests in indonesia are protected areas

           4). Reforestation and it’s maintenance should be done more than before

So dear audiences, as the government they have to be aware that Indonesia our beloved country has a very important role in the eyes of the world to save our planet from the destruction, to make all society enjoy life in this world. Changing the overhot weather to be a little fresh weather.
